I am very excited that it's gig season. I am even more excited that it's extended to around my birthday. Wireless @ Hyde Park here I come!
There's this other festival at the end of the month and I've been downloading songs since yesterday because I don't know all the bands (I'm not gonna pay 30 squid for nothing y'know) and I suddenly got very sad that I didn't have a music player any more to listen to everything properly. My ATRAC3 CD player just wouldn't switch on a few weeks ago after I took it out of my bag. Okay so it had probably been there for like a couple of months without me realising it wasn't working. But STILL. I've even lost the earphones for my phone =S
I pay more attention to what I'm listening to when it's fed directly to my ears.
So I was pushing the buttons on my cd player hoping for a spark. Something to tell me there's low battery, anything. Last time I tried to charge it nothing happened. I thought I might try again.... make those damn electrons get back in those batteries!! Mr Docking Station; my last hope.
Then Hallelujah!! Charging light came on!! What a relief. Music can cause permanent damage to my ears once more!!
For a second there I had thought I would have to buy another Ipod. It is very frustrating to know you've bought a sexy 30gb video Ipod with your own money and yet you never get to see it let alone touch it =(
So I put my fingerprints all over it when my boyfriend came over yesterday. Muhehe (=
Oh Music.

//Things I would very much like
The Edible Garden:

A book that tells dumb people like me how to grow things. I have missed having a garden - I forgot how nice it is to eat things that you didn't have to buy.
The Abominable Charles Christopher - Book One:

The first collection of the webcomic drawn by Karl Kerschl. I met Karl in November (?) and he's a really nice guy, who draws really amazing comics.
