Post Exam Shenanigans

Being safely (debateable) on the other side of stress and exams, I've been keeping myself very very busy. Busy having fun!! It feels so good walking down oxford street knowing that you dont have to be anywhere!!!

Ahh the summer. It's come really quickly. This exam season was very different to any exam season I've experienced... I don't think I handled it in the best way, but if I make it to next year (argh insyallah) then I'm definitely going to have to change my studying habits. Habits being not studying until I'm in danger of failing miserably.

Anyway, brushing away that grey cloud, you can see what I've been up to in the sunshine!!

Me and some civ eng girls went to have lunch that friday to celebrate exams being over!! We went to this Persian restaurant in Fulham, was quite nice, and it was empty so we had the place to ourselves =)

After that I went to Malaysian Film Festival in Covent Garden. It was in the Odeon on Shaftesbury Avenue, and it was free! As far as I can remember, it's the first time they've ever done that in London, so it was pretty cool.

Came back to Covent Garden the next day to enjoy Malaysia Week 2007 properly. They had a dance troupe of under 10-year-olds, they were so good!! They can dance better than all of us in Mnite put together!! My mum said she saw them afterwards being taken to Hamley's and they were so excited! Must have been soooo amazing for them to perform in London =P

Street performers in Covent Garden

Wagamama's. Got a bit carried away with the drinks lol. Four of them were free. Well it was pretty hot that day =P After that went to watch Pirates 3. Loved it!!

The next day we went to Westminster/South Bank to do some sightseeing:

And then went on the London Eye. Civil Engineering!! =P

Took some pretty cool pics from up there:

=D

Then we went to watch Othello at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre:

It was amazing!! I almost died from the seats in the end, but it was very well done, the atmosphere was just phenomenal. It was great to see Shakespeare in the setting it would have been performed all those years ago, all the new interpretations and new spins on Shakespeare never have the same impact as how it used to be performed. It was just awesome.

Anyway that's all for now...more of my adventures next time =P
