Term has started and I have become busy busy busy.
It's nice to see everyone again (well almost everyone), and the fresher's are very much.. well, fresh. They're all very excited and enthusiastic. I like my CivEng fresher buddies; we're doing a poster project together as a start of term assignment. So far they're pretty cool.
I'm considering taking up several things just to keep myself active. I've been to Wing Chun twice this week and so far it's been good. MSoc is up and running again, and Mnite stuff is soon to follow, although I have no clue how involved I'm going to be in that, I daresay something or other will end up keeping me busy.
I like the direction the course is heading this year. I find the lectures a lot more interesting because they're a lot more relevant. Although I'm still inclined towards wishing I did something more physics-y, I will just have to find another way to feed that interest somehow, simply because there are still things I might want to do with CivEng.
Anyway, even though I have plenty to say, I guess I should leave it there. Work to do and all.

//Things I would very much like
The Edible Garden:

A book that tells dumb people like me how to grow things. I have missed having a garden - I forgot how nice it is to eat things that you didn't have to buy.
The Abominable Charles Christopher - Book One:

The first collection of the webcomic drawn by Karl Kerschl. I met Karl in November (?) and he's a really nice guy, who draws really amazing comics.
