li-l-laah is a contraction of li- + Al-laah meaning to God. It is Arab etiquette to reply to any enquiry about your health with this phrase even if you have just broken both your legs.

Recently I have borrowed my friend's mac coz my laptop isn't working and was bored last night and started looking at dresses for a couple of hours, knowing that I shouldn't spend money. The morning after (just now) this appeared in my inbox:
