Watch It: Watchmen

If you are a fan for V for Vendetta (because Alan Moore's comics are awesome), or if you loved watching 300 (because Zack Snyder was a sensational director), then you must must MUST watch this trailer (new window), even if you have no idea what it's about.

Tell me that it does not look awesome???

I'm going to jump in bed and read the comic very very fast now, it's been sitting on my desk neglected.

  2. Whao nice!

Why must it be june 2009....

Watchmen seems like pretty good stuff and they better not screw it up in the movie.

By the way, have you watched Batman? It was brilliant.

  4. yeah its the most riskiest comic book movie to be made ever!

I'm through about 4 or 5 chapters now... OMGGG it's too awesome. It's so deep i don't know how they're going to make it into a movie everyone can watch =S

2009 is not that bad man.. i remember going into the cinemas and picking up a Transformers poster 2-3 years before the movie was actually out! which was very annoying!

I haven't seen Dark Knight yet, premiere at leceister sq is today! a bunch of people i know have gone to stalk christian bale =P

  8. Actually, I am a little worried...with the director of 300 helming the production. 300 is 'visionary' but not exactly a movie with any depth...just steroid-inflated semi-nude men with equally inflated egos performing choreography...

Look what happened to 'The Golden Compass' when they got the director of American Pie to direct it...

  10. We shall see..

    I've just finished reading it!!

Sounds like you're jealous of how "inflated" the spartans were =P Have you actually read 300? Because maybe the depth you were looking for wasn't even present in the graphic novel. I haven't read it, but I still liked the movie. And it wasn't because of the men. When you have jared next to you telling u how fit the men are it puts you off =P

Watchmen gives you a LOT to think about, I don't see how they are going fit all the social concepts into a watchable movie. Like some stories intervweave each other, and you don't understand their significance until the very end. I imagine their going to take the main storyline and turn into some action adventure.

Graphics still look awesome. It looks all very futuristic though, can't imagine it happening during nixon's time.
