Watched It?

Hello! Watched the Watchmen before EVERYBODY else on Thursday night, can't believe that countdown is over!

Now, I'm not one to spend money on going to the movies, simply because I get disappointed if it wasn't worth it. If you watch any movie this year, make it the Watchmen. Yeah, I was a little disappointed with the ending, because they frickin changed it! But for the layperson who has not had the privelage of reading the Watchmen comics, it is a very good movie indeed. I am very glad that I already have IMAX tickets to watch it on the MASSIVE screen next weekend :)

The preview itself was very impressive. It was held at the SE1 club near London Bridge, quite literally under a bridge. The tunnel was filled with cars of the era, pin-ups and propaganda donning the walls, just so you could get into the mood of the watchmen world.

And then you got inside.

1960s overload.






Needless to say, I am very glad I watched it before everyone else!

I haven't read Diesel Sweeties in ages. In this comic girls go out with robots. Don't ask me how.

My theory on the Doctor Who front is that David Tennant can't possibly be replaced because he is just TOO DARN GOOD at it. He also has a DNA reference of this version of him via the hand that got cut off and put in a jar, which must play SOME significance, coz it's been sitting in the Tardis and has always been in the camera shot long enough for you to notice it. Argh can't wait until next weeeeek.

Chantelle Preston

In 6 weeks I'm supposed to be Chantelle. And who is Chantelle?

England's answer to Ms Hilton. (except hasn't gone as bad as gone to prison. Yet.)

For those of you not in touch with the happenings of the Big Brother universe, Chantelle Houghton won Big Brother in 2006. She then got married to Sam Preston, member of the Ordinary Boys and love interest while she was in the house. Later on the 2007 they got divorced after 10 months of marriage. Since she's left the Big Brother house, this Paris Hilton lookalike has been a celeb of her own right, being all over the tv afterwards, at one point having her own show, and enough coverage of her marriage in the newspapers to clean out Ascot's horse stables. Since her divorce she's had massive (and I mean MASSIVE) plastic surgery done to herself, and spends time in the tabloids looking far from happy.

What happened to that chirpy girl? I'm sure she's there somewhere under those Double D silicon mountains. If I google your name all I get is fansites adoring your toplessness in certain photoshoots. You were comfortable with yourself back then, what's changed now? Oh Chantelle Preston, I'm afraid I have to say

Soleil

She's a bit of a youtube star, if you've seen David Choi's little vlogs and covers you might have seen her before. Chloe Temtchine (myspaceyoutube) has got this lovely enchanting yet soulful voice which the acoustics of the room she plays in doesn't quite do justice. The fact that she's a bit of a beauty hasn't hurt her youtube ratings either.
